Meet the trustee team......
Rev Peter Merry has been an AOG church minister in Havering for 9 years. He previously worked for 17 years for local government on enterprise schemes for the unemployed. He trained for the ministry and took up post in London with a church that initiated work with both the homeless and refugees. He has worked for Gamcare, a national charity that supports people with gambling addictions and for Teen Challenge London an international outreach and rehabilitation ministry for people who have addiction.
Paul Coppeard works for Hope UK which is a Christian training and drugs outreach charity. This involves training and advising both professional and charitable groups on drug awareness and prevention. Previously, he worked professionally in IT as a systems analyst and developer. He was also a trustee previously for 7 years for Pilgrims Hall, a Christian retreat centre. Paul is married with three grown up children and a grandchild.
Dr. Joseph Kyari is the founder and Senior Pastor of Glorious Ministries International in London. He is married and blessed with five children. He loves to study and has the following qualifications PhD (London UK), PGCE (Canterbury UK), M.A (Jos Nigeria), B.ED (Zaria Nigeria), CERT.ED (Zaria Nigeria). His ministry is also involved in charitable projects for widows, orphans and supporting the underprivileged to complete their studies in Pakistan, Nigeria and the Philippines.
New Trustee: Teri Goodyear has been with the London Healing Rooms since it first started in 2003. As well as ministering she also teaches and does regular training and has much experience with different kinds of emotional traumas.
Teri herself has had experience of the criminal justice and penal system and has overcome her own difficulties with addiction. She has a passion to see people who were like herself without hope.
