Our Thrive Community Housing is still operating across the Havering Borough. We have received a grant confirmation from The Fore. We are now receiving donations. We thank you for your kind support at this time.
The Transformations Programme aims to provide quality, comprehensive and compassionate care to men in recovery from all types of addiction including: Drugs; alcohol; gambling and other forms of addiction. We currently run a day programme integrated with our social enterprise guiding our residents through a rigorous and structured process of personal development– equipping and empowering men for meaningful and lasting life change.
The Catalyst Nightshelter is now 8 Years Old!
“Making homelessness history in Havering” is our dream. Join us as we celebrate the 8th Anniversary of the Catalyst Nightshelter providing essential food and shelter to over 1351 men and women but also housing 705 people.

We couldn’t do the work that we do without the love and support of our local community. Would you join us in our mission by volunteering time or supporting us financially?
Our Thrive Community Housing provides support and housing to 43 men and women in houses, flats and studio flats. All the housing is accessed by the Catalyst Nightshelter. Just this week, 6 people were housed from the Nightshelter in Collier Row.
Graham lives in our Thrive Housing said “After living abroad for around 12 years, I returned to the U.K. having been offered work which included accommodation, unfortunately; this fell through, which meant I had nowhere to live and no income.
I was lucky enough to be put in touch with ‘Hope4Havering’.
Hope4Havering is branching out into social enterprise for a sustainable future. Eben Wood, our shop that features original designed clothes combining African fabric and upcycled clothes. This shop is opposite Lidl and Fitness First on Atlanta Boulevard, South Street, Romford.
Our Hope4Havering Furniture Shops
Hope4Havering has opened 2 charity shops selling furniture, bric-a-brac and clothes on the corner of Atlanta Boulevard on South Street opposite Fitness First in Romford and in the Brewery car park opposite Metro bank. Come in and snap up some bargains helping the homeless in our Borough.
